Comfort Objects & The Abstract Dollhouse are two halves of a capstone project. Comfort Objects involved crafting abstract dolls, exploring their relationship to attachment, emotion, and the senses. More detail on this phase can be found at The Evergreen Virtual Gallery. The Abstract Dollhouse was created as an environment for the dolls. Unique rooms were assembled, photographed, and installed into a virtual house, meant to evoke different moods as the viewer explores. The mixed-media work includes ceramics and fiber arts.
